Step back into a time reminiscent of a Charles Dickens novel or a Norman Rockwell painting as you enjoy the company of family and friends while the sounds of horses' hooves and holiday music take you through a winter wonderland.


Carriage Service


Workhorse Ranch and Olde Tyme Carriage Co. has been the exclusive carriage service of Southlake Town Square for 22 years and counting. The fantastic Southlake shopping center is located in the quaint and picturesque City of Southlake, Texas.

Holiday carriage rides will primarily be served by a 6-8 passenger wagon, in order to accommodate our growing families. Carriage rides are weather permitting, and any questions should call or text 817-925-4993.

Private Holiday Tours


Private reservations may be made any time, on any day, at any location during the season. These rates vary by type of service required and are tailored to make your holiday event special. Feel free to call us today to discuss your particular needs.

Reservations & Pricing


Reservations are not required but are encouraged. These must be paid in advance and made online.

Standard Carriage Ride


A standard carriage ride generally lasts 5 to 7 minutes and costs $30 for a group of 4.

Extended Carriage Ride


The extended ride lasts approx. 15 minutes and costs $60 for the group of 4.

Large Group Rides


Larger groups may be accommodated with our 8 passenger wagonette most nights with a reservation for the Extended Ride at a rate of $65. When available we can accommodate a larger group for a standard ride at $35.

Health & Safety


In the overall interest of public health and safety, Olde Tyme Carriage Company has established a health and safety plan for the operation of public and private carriage service provided by the Company. This plan has been developed and guided by best practices and professional guidelines from the Tarrant County Health Department following the Center for Disease Control recommendations and the Carriage Operators of North America.

  • Social Distancing: The Company will encourage social distancing of customers waiting for carriage service. Additionally for public service the Company will continue to promote online reservations to minimize wait times and mixed gatherings of non-associated groups.  Carriage rides will be for families or predesignated groups from the same household.  
  • Face Coverings: Face Coverings required for employees of the Company while conducting business with the public. Face Coverings for patrons are encouraged.
  • Contact Minimization: Company employees will not use patron phones or cameras for photographs.
  • Cleaning & Sanitation: Carriages will be cleaned/sanitized between rides. Hand sanitizer will be made available for patrons.
  • Wellness Monitoring: Wellness checks for employees will be conducted prior to each shift.

Cancellation Policy


We will show up unless we hear from you. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
  • 6 to 8 hour advance notice is required for cancellation due to inclement weather.
  • A partial refund may be sent within 30 days of cancellation provided proper notice has been given.
  • Olde Tyme Carriage Co. reserves:
    • The right to avoid or alter any and all situations where safety may be a factor
    • The right to cancel any and all agreements in the event of hazardous conditions
  • If you cancel, you may or may not receive a refund. 
  • If we cancel, we will refund you.
