Tourism Division

The Southlake Tourism program was established in August 2007 with the opening of the City's first full service Hilton Southlake Town Square Hotel!  In 2011 Southlake City Council officially adopted a Economic Development & Tourism Strategic Master Plan as part of the Southlake 2030 Plan.  The establishment of the Tourism Master Plan outlined a program intended to enhance the quality of life for residents and the sustainability of City businesses through the promotion of the tourism, convention and hotel industry.  The primary goal is to make Southlake a premier destination for meetings and leisure travelers in the Dallas Forth Worth Metroplex and beyond!

The Tourism division has a dedicated, professional staff that is committed to ensuring that visitors and groups have the perfect Southlake experience.  Tourism is a division of the Department of Economic Development & Tourism within the City of Southlake and is comprised of two full time staff who each have specific roles and responsibilities.
