Avant Chamber Ballet brings The Nutcracker: Short and Suite with live music back to Southlake, Texas presented by Apex Arts League on November 17th. The production is a family-friendly shortened version of the holiday classic with the professional dancers of ACB and choreography by Paul Mejia.
“We are happy to return to Southlake and present our biggest production yet for Nutcracker: Short & Suite” says ACB artistic director Katie Puder. “This is a family tradition for so many to start the holidays and we are so excited to return!”
The performance is presented by Apex Arts League who brings major arts groups such as the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and the Fort Worth Symphony to the city of Southlake.

About Avant Chamber Ballet
Avant Chamber Ballet’s mission is to bring exceptional live dance and chamber music together for audiences in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Our ensemble of classically trained dancers presents a diverse repertoire of classical and contemporary works from local choreographers, as well as internationally acclaimed artists. Since our inaugural season in 2012, ACB has presented over thirty world premiere ballets. The organization is in its ninth season and is led by artistic director Katie Puder.
